BOHOL GOVERNOR DISTRIBUTES OVER P7 MILLION IN AID TO VARIOUS BARANGAYS

Bohol Governor Aris Aumentado has distributed a total of P7.1 million in aid to various barangays in the province, as part of his administration’s efforts to support local development projects.

In a series of visits to different barangays, Governor Aumentado handed over checks worth P2.98 million to five barangays in Mabini town, and another P4.12 million to eight barangays in Loon town and other areas in the second and third districts.

The aid was allocated for various projects, including road concreting, farm-to-market road construction, and the improvement of waterworks systems.

Among the recipients were Barangay Tabuan in Loon, which received P500,000 for road concreting, and Barangay Bagacay in Kawayan, which received P400,000 for road improvement.

Other barangays that received aid included Barangay Candiagan in Loon, which received P200,000 for road concreting, and Barangay Bongco, which received P200,000 for a farm-to-market road project.

Governor Aumentado also visited Barangay Balintawak in Talibon, where he handed over a check worth P500,000 for road concreting and another P60,000 for a foundation project.

In addition, the governor announced that a P2 million project for a covered court in Barangay Balintawak would be funded by the office of 2nd District Congressman Van Van Aumentado.

The governor also visited Barangay Dagohoy in Danao, where he handed over a check worth P200,000 for a multi-purpose hall project, and Barangay Cantubod, which received P220,000 for the same purpose.

Other barangays that received aid included Barangay Tabok in Danao, which received P200,000, and Barangay Panghagban in Buenavista, which received P200,000 for a multi-purpose hall project.

Governor Aumentado also visited Barangay Canawa in Candijay, where he handed over a check worth P200,000 for a footbridge project.

In Bayong, Guindulman, the governor handed over a check worth P520,000 for a waterworks system project, with P200,000 coming from the governor’s office.
